City of Pineville, Louisiana

 

The Street Department is responsible for the maintenance of city streets, alleys, parking lots, sidewalks, curbs and handicap ramps.  This includes street light operation, street sweeping, street patching, sidewalk repair, traffic signs, paint striping and markings, and equipment maintenance and repairs.  The City provides maintenance to approximately 150 miles of roadway.  In addition the City annually grades unimproved roadways.  The staff also completes a limited number of major asphalt overlay projects each year.
