The City of Pineville's Public Works Department is charged with most of what you think of when you consider public services: Potable Water, Wastewater, Sanitation, Streets, Building Maintenance, Recreation, etc. The goal of the Department is to provide these services in a comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Administration is responsible for:

• Receiving/assigning services requests to the appropriate department
• Overseeing accounting processes and operating/capital improvements budgets for each department
• Overseeing the progress of special projects
• Personnel administration of employees
• Administers the hiring, processing and orientation of new employees.
